Monument Colorado Fire

No need to be alarmed, there is a controlled burn taking place June 12, on the west side of 1-25 near Monument and Palmer Lake Co. The burn is being conducted by the U.S. Forest Service to clear out dense brush along the foothills of Mount Herman. Some trails and roads will be closed near the burn during this controlled fire.
